I don't much feel affected by being away from home or the things with it. Mostly because I don't let myself think about it. But when I do, from time to time, I feel ridiculously far away and out of touch as much as I try to keep in touch; kind of faded just because I can't physically be there.

"I accepted and am in the process of taking loans out, as I have no money. I am excited for the experience and completely scared, as I know no one will probably visit me. I will be alone.

I stayed with my friend Fenna, back in her home town in Germany for the past weekish. We’ve been pretty close since the fall, but having so much time, you really get to talk about your past a bit - family, friends.
